What credit bureaus does SavvyMoney use?

SavvyMoney primarily partners with Equifax and TransUnion for credit data. The specific bureau used depends on your partnership agreement. Contact your SavvyMoney representative for details about your configuration.

How often is credit data updated?

Credit scores are typically refreshed on a monthly basis for active users. Some integrations support on-demand pulls for real-time scoring. Check your partnership agreement for specific refresh schedules.

Can users delete their data?

Yes. Users can request data deletion through your platform. Use the User Deletion API endpoint to process these requests. Data is permanently removed within 30 days of the request.


Troubleshooting

Why am I getting a 401 Unauthorized error?

Common causes:

  1. Expired token - Tokens expire after 1 hour; refresh before expiration
  2. Wrong credentials - Verify you're using the correct Client ID/Secret
  3. Environment mismatch - Ensure sandbox credentials aren't used in production

The iframe isn't loading. What should I check?
