Core Tab

The Core tab manages the integration between SavvyMoney and your institution's core banking system. This is where loan booking, account creation, and core system data synchronization occur.

Search Member

Look up existing members in core:

  1. Click Search Member
  2. Enter search criteria:
    • Member number
    • SSN (last 4)
    • Name
    • Phone
    • Account number
  3. View search results
  4. Select member to link

Create Member

For new customers:

  1. Click Create Member (if not found)
  2. Verify applicant data
  3. Select membership type
  4. Click Create
  5. Member number assigned by core

Book Loan

Send approved loan to core:

  1. Verify all requirements met
  2. Click Book Loan
  3. Review booking summary
  4. Confirm booking
  5. Monitor booking status
Booking Requirements

Before booking, ensure:

  • All stipulations cleared
  • Documents signed
  • Collateral (if required) processed
  • Funding account verified

Viewing Sync History

The sync log shows all communications with the core:

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Manual Intervention

When automatic processes fail:

  1. Review error messages
  2. Correct any data issues
  3. Try Retry action
  4. If still failing, use Manual Override (with authorization)
  5. Document override reason
  6. Escalate to support if needed

Best Practices

Before Booking

  • Verify all applicant data is correct
  • Confirm all stipulations are cleared
  • Ensure documents are signed
  • Check funding account details
  • Review loan terms match approval

During Booking

  • Don't navigate away during booking
  • Wait for confirmation
  • Note any warnings or errors
  • Save booking confirmation

After Booking

  • Verify loan appears in core
  • Confirm funding processed
  • Update application status
  • Document any issues
